Why I go OUTDOORS
I love being outside. Everything about nature impresses me. I love the peace and beauty of the wind through the leaves. The way an old oak tree makes me feel so small. I love stars and storms. Lying in soft grass in the summer shade. Nature is my poetry come alive. My huband has shown me the adverture side of heading outdoors to do nothing- actually has endless possibilities and discoveries.
Camping with Make-up
I'd rather be camping than doing anything. Nothing is more relaxing than being under some trees and listening to a river and the wind. It makes me feel connected to the earth. I think all living things are connected- the respect Native Americans gave to nature should be paid more attention to. And yes I wear make-up while I camp. Look good and don't care if you get dirty.- That's my philosophy when camping.
What We Do
As a family we go hiking in Austin, explore the caves in Georgetown and New Braunfels, rock climb at the Greenbelt, and camp everywhere we can in central Texas.
